Dress Code
Garden Party formal. We’re having a traditional ceremony with a relaxed, indoor / outdoor celebration to follow. Parts of the day will be outdoors (weather permitting), so please choose fabrics and footwear with that in mind.
Ladies: Long dresses or elegant midi dresses. Think florals, pastels, or classic block colours. Bring comfortable shoes for dancing!
Gents: Suits, no tuxedos needed. Light colours encouraged for the garden vibe. Ties optional but welcome.
Travel between the Ceremony and Reception
Transport will be provided between the ceremony at New College and the Reception at Lains Barn. Guests will need to arrange their own travel from Lains Barn to their respective hotels and homes. Please see Travel & Stay for recommendations of local taxi companies who will be available to assist with transport.
Parking
For those driving, please note that New College is unable to offer parking although there are limited available parking facilities in Oxford.
Lains Barn does offer a limited amount of parking. If you are planning to drive, please do indicate on your RSVP form as we will need to coordinate the number of cars that can be accommodated.
